Low-Carb Skillet Hash (caution, spicy!)

1 pkg red-hot Italian sausage, uncooked
1/2 head of red cabbage, chopped
1 head broccoli, cut into small pieces
1 can black beans, drained
fresh garlic, sliced
olive oil
thyme
small amount of liquid of your choice
no salt/pepper needed!

Remove sausage from skins, cook, chop and separate while cooking into small bits; remove from pan
sautee chopped vegetables in oil on high heat, adding garlic, thyme, and black beans last
add sausage back in
cover and simmer about ten minutes
add liquid in tiny amounts to avoid dryness

When all is cooked to tender, but not mushy, dish into bowls and drizzle lightly with ranch dressing.
